Just steps away from the La Cienega Design Quarter and the Pacific Design Center, Avenue Interior Design has inaugurated its new office in one of Los Angeles’ most creative hubs. Coinciding with the studio’s 15th anniversary, the opening reflects Avenue’s connection to the larger design community and the creative relationships that shape its work. “Our studio was inspired by the layered and collected spirit that drives all our work,” says Avenue cofounder and CEO Andrea DeRosa, “We also see the studio as a canvas for our projects. Its neutral foundation allows each design’s individuality to emerge, while the surrounding objects and artifacts invite curiosity and conversation. The result is an environment where guests feel both grounded and inspired, with creativity always unfolding.”
Crafted with warmth and tactility in mind, the space comprises curated furnishings, lighting, and objets d’art that evoke softness and residential warmth. Soft textiles and warm woods imbue intimacy as well, while books and artifacts gathered from travels line shelves. Expansive windows frame vistas of the Hollywood Hills and pour natural light into the interior, instill a grounding quality while also reflecting a sensibility for fostering collaboration. “Our studio reflects our values as much as our aesthetic,” DeRosa adds. “Rather than feeling purely functional or minimal, the layered interiors create a setting that is both a workspace and a destination.”
