Hospitality workspace concept The Malin has launched its latest New York outpost atop the Equinox Flatiron in Manhattan. Spanning 32,700 square feet and two floors, the new location is the brand’s fifth in New York and eighth nationwide. It’s also their largest unit yet, with a total of 20 private offices and 36 dedicated desks. “To have not only opened in Flatiron—but to have opened at scale, fully sold out—is a clear sign that The Malin offers something the market deeply wants: elevated design, meaningful community, and hospitality that enhances productivity,” says Ciarán McGuigan, founder and CEO of The Malin.

Designed in-house, Malin Flatiron maximizes original bones that include soaring ceilings, expansive windows, exposed steel columns, and timber trusses. The original layout is also retained, heralding guests with archways upon arrival, while timber office doors and refined partitions are installed for privacy. A moodier color and worktop palette gently accentuates the architectural character of the interior, as do custom solid oak desks and recycled crystal dividers. In addition to offices and desks, three meeting rooms, a 14-person boardroom, and 21 phone booths are available to support a range of professional needs. Two kitchens, two libraries, and an expansive mezzanine are also housed onsite.
